From innovative Adventure Therapy that takes counselling outdoors to traditional in-office sessions, we offer a range of personalized services designed to meet your unique needs.
To book your appointment through this secure JaneApp platform, simply follow these steps:
- Select Your Therapist: Click on the picture of the therapist you would like to see to view their schedule
- Select Your Service: Choose the type of session that best suits your needs (e.g., Adventure Therapy, In-Office Counselling, Couples Counselling). For some sessions, you may be prompted to “contact us to book”. Please reach out to your therapist directly if you have that information or contact us at info@bowlinementalhealth.ca
- Find a Time Slot: Use the calendar to view available dates and times. You can navigate through the weeks to find what works best for your schedule.
- Confirm Your Booking: Once you’ve selected a time, you’ll be guided through a few quick steps to confirm your appointment. If you’re a new client, you’ll be prompted to create an account.
- Receive Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation with all the details of your appointment. You can also opt-in for email or SMS reminders!

Adventure Therapy
Adventure Therapy is the use of adventure experiences provided by a counsellor, with the intention of improving personal well-being. While each session is incredibly unique depending on who is present, our adventure therapy aims to incorporate movement, risk, nature, and mental health or personal development support. At Bowline, we provide a variety of adventure activities to choose from, such as fishing, paddling, hiking, river exploration, fire starting, disc golf, or send in a request to see if your counsellor can accommodate it.
Talk Therapy (In-office or Outdoors)
The more typical style of counselling. Come spend some time in the office or on an easy walk with your counsellor to chat and dig deeper into the topics that you want to bring up. Our counsellors use a variety of techniques, drawing from a number of different theoretical orientations. Browse the list to see who you think would fit best, or reach out with a description of what you're hoping for to be matched up with a suitable counsellor.
